Q: What is Glucosamine?

A: Glucosamine is an amino saccharide that occurs naturally in the body. Glucosamine is used by the body as a precursor for cartilage synthesis. Q: What is Joint Shield™?
A: The ingredients in Joint Shield work to guard against the action of enzymes that affect joint health.* This proprietary blend includes the patent-pending ingredient 5-LOXIN®. Taking 5-LOXIN® showed improvement in Joint Comfort within 7 days¹. 5-LOXIN® is a super concentrated extract of Boswellia serrata, which helps with joint flare-ups.* The 5-LOXIN® in Joint Shield™ is ten times more concentrated than typical Boswellia extracts.
